Discover different sections of the ESOF 2018 Programme
The ESOF 2018 six-day event includes various programmes. Its content is selected by the Programme Committee, based on proposals from the scientific community and guided by current topics related to science and technology. Most of the sessions will be held in English.
The scientific programme will include hundreds of seminars, workshops and debates on the latest breakthroughs in research, led by world-renowned scientists.

The Science Policy programme will be particularly important as it will foster discussions on the strategic research and innovation directions for Europe based on the Horizon 2020 programme outcomes.
The Science to Business programme will be a unique platform in Europe to exchange ideas and good practices from around the world on research-driven business models and on the economic developments resulting from technological innovation.
This programme will be an exceptional Careers Fair, which will enable young researchers, educational institutes and industrial actors to address the issues surrounding the challenges and opportunities for scientific careers in Europe.
The programme dedicated to media and communication will be a European scientific showcase for more than 400 accredited journalists.
In the framework of ESOF, a rich and varied programme will be proposed to the general public during the "Science in the City" festival. It will be composed of both fun activities and scientific events that will take place in various areas of Toulouse with the participation of prominent personalities present during ESOF.

Throughout ESOF, an exhibition gathering the main actors in research and innovation in Europe will be held at the Pierre Baudis Congress Center.
The social programme will offer delegates numerous festive and official events, including an opening ceremony, a presidential dinner, a party, a reception for the media and a closing ceremony.
These events, organised around the same time as ESOF, will allow their organisers to benefit from the dynamic created by ESOF.
