
Cathrine Holst, Professor of Sociology, University of Oslo. Holst was previously Research Professor at ARENA Center for European Studies, University of Oslo. She has been leader of several research projects on the role of expert knowledge in policymaking and democracy, and published extensively on public policy, political epistemology and democratic theory. Holst is currently leader of a research group at the Centre for Advanced Studies (CAS) in Oslo with the project What is a good policy? (GOODPOL). Next year she will be Visiting Researcher at the Department of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Cambridge.
