Discover the EU Pavilion and the European Talent Fair at ESOF2022!  

European Talent Fair, Saturday, July 16, at the exhibition in the Pieterskerk

From 13 to 16 July 2022, the European Union will be present at the ESOF2022 exhibition with a dedicated EU pavilion.  The physical EU pavilion programme will mainly focus on EU Missions, a novelty of the Horizon Europe research and innovation programme bringing concrete solutions to some of our greatest challenges and on young academic careers.

The pavilion will include a wide range of activities, including TED-style talks, virtual reality experiences, and the European Talent Fair on Saturday, July 16, which will be open and accessible to everyone, live sketching with young artists, and virtual escape games on sustainability and space.

You can also visit the virtual EU booth to discuss research and innovation policy, EU Missions, opportunities for research talent and more. In this digital space, you will also find the latest factsheets, reports, and videos on a wide range of EU research and innovation topics!   

European Talent Fair: Venue Pieterskerk July 16 

The EU pavilion will also be the main stage of the first-ever European Talent Fair, taking place both in the physical exhibition space and in the virtual booth on Saturday, July 16. The EU Talent Fair will bring together students, early-career researchers, scholars, start-ups, industry, and investors to increase young people’s job opportunities in the research sectors. Take part in the organised activities to learn more about EU initiatives for young academic careers!

All registered participants will be able to access the exhibition and visit the EU pavilion, as well as the public each day after 14:00 and the entire day on Saturday, July 16.
