Emma Day is a Project Manager, trainer and resource developer.
She is experienced in European Horizon 2020 projects, currently working on the RRING programme with a key role in establishing a global RRI community which aligns with the SDGs and UNESCO statement of recommendation. She has worked extensively with the EURAXESS programme and project managed the Horizon2020 EURAXIND programme EURAXESS for Industry which looked to bridge the gap between employers and researchers though better understanding of the needs of both parties. The project developed resources to encourage researchers to consider careers outside of academia.
Other previous roles include manager of Every Researcher Counts programme, a UK wide project to improve equality and diversity for research staff within the higher education sector. This involved writing and developing resources in consultation with the sector including Actions for All; Ten recommendations that institutions should follow in order to improve diversity for staff. She is also project managing the UK wide evaluation of the Catalyst programme a series of mental health and wellbeing initiatives for researchers.
