After a obtaining a degree in Physics, Francesca went on to receive a Master in Science Communication degree from ISASS of Trieste, with her thesis focusing on the history of numerical simulation. Always interested in the relationship between art and science, in 2012 she wrote for Rizzoli’s publishing the first graphic novel on the life of Alan Turing, in collaboration with the cartoonist Andrea Paggiaro (aka Thunder Pettinato). ENIGMA - The strange life of Alan Turing has been translated into Japanese and Spanish. In 2015, she wrote The Majorana Secret, graphic novel that was inspired by the story of the physicist Ettore Majorana who disappeared before the Second World War, and also writes regularly on the scientific research related to the issues of matter and antimatter.
