ESOF2022: Curious About What to Expect?

Are you a changemaker ready for ESOF2022 the first hybrid – onsite and online – interdisciplinary, science-driven conference? We are eager to share with you our full programme of diverse and cross-cutting sessions that will be part of the scientific programme centred on the theme of Crossing Borders, Engaged Science, Resilient Societies.

Although the programme of ESOF2022 is still evolving, it will feature approximately 120 scientific sessions and 60 (e)poster sessions, a great exhibition in the Pieterskerk, and different keynote speaker for each of the seven tracks, e.g., Ben Feringa as keynote speaker in the Space for Science track.

Interesting highlights

Besides seven keynote speakers, we will also stage two plenary sessions addressing current topics debated by international panel members with different perspectives: one plenary will be about Sustainable Cities and the other will address Living in a World with Pandemics. In addition, Young Academy Leiden (YAL) will organise special workshops for early-career researchers related to the track Sustainable Academic Careers and you can attend special sessions and field trips within the Science and Business track, organised by the University of Applied Sciences. These highlights represent just a sample of what awaits you at ESOF2022.
