Biography Barbara Fabro

Graduated in International Relations and Diplomacy at the University of Trieste, Barbara Fabro is Senior Executive Officer at the Central European Initiative – Executive Secretariat (CEI-ES). She is responsible for the CEI activities in the fields of culture and media as well as for communication and media relations. She runs the CEI partnership with the South East Europe Media Organisation (SEEMO) for the organisation of the annual South East Europe Media Forum and coordinates the CEI SEEMO Award for Outstanding Merits in Journalism. She is in charge of the assessment and supervisory of proposals and allocation of grants for activities submitted by private and public institutions, mainly involving academics, researchers, cultural operators, media representatives and government officials in the framework of training activities, seminars, summer schools and conferences.
